Last week I bought a small bouquet and brought a little spring into the studio. My son loves these flowers because if you rub the leaves between your fingers, they smell like lime. And I still haven’t learned their name.
After that, it was simple: help the dog settle down — and get to work. That day I had one quiet hour, and three watercolor sketches were born. Soft, pink, and very spring-like.
I called them “Where Spring Begins.”
