A theatre project called On Stage invited me to create musical instruments for their new performance. I happily got lost in the process, making life-size black-and-white violins, a cello, a flute, a clarinet, and a double bass. I delivered the project, took a deep breath, felt proud… and then, with a smile, they said: “Oh, and we’ll need a piano too.”
