“The Yerevan Effect” exhibition opened with great enthusiasm on Sunday, July 16th, at the enchanting Zangak bookstore. Despite the city being drenched in water for the festive occasion of Vardavar, we miraculously made it to the venue dry (though some of our guests were not so lucky). Before an audience of eager art enthusiasts, I embarked on a live watercolor demonstration, delicately pouring water onto the canvas and bringing an orchid to life. Throughout the process, I shared my thoughts on the process of drawing, explaining why I chose watercolors as my medium. We delved into the profound influence of Armenia on my subjects and palette, engaging in heartfelt discussions. The event was a true celebration of creativity and connection.
The exhibition will be held from July 16th to 30th. I invite you to an exhibition of my watercolors, set to take place in the heart of Yerevan. Hosted at the cozy and charming Zangak Bookstore on Abovyan Street, 7.
